Entrepreneur Mark Cuban has shared his perspective on the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in the creative process, asserting that while AI can significantly aid creativity, it cannot entirely automate it. Speaking on the YMH podcast, Cuban pointed out that AI can generate numerous ideas quickly, but human judgment is essential in making final decisions.

Cuban emphasized that elements of storytelling are inherently human and cannot be replicated by machines. He acknowledged the concerns about AI replacing human roles, particularly in Hollywood, where strikes have occurred to protect against this threat. However, he sees AI as a valuable tool that can enhance creativity rather than replace it.

According to Cuban, successful creative output relies on human gut instinct and intuition, which AI cannot replicate. He maintains that those who can effectively integrate AI into their creative processes will benefit greatly, using it to streamline tasks like storyboarding and testing. Cuban reassures that, like other technological advancements, adapting to AI will ultimately be beneficial.
